
I have awful timing.
Some of the best bands I've ever discovered (lifetime, american football, refused) broke up JUST before I got into them. That's like meeting the girl of your dreams, and then finding out that her wedding day is on Friday.
Add Latterman to that list.
If you're into generally into uncool pop punk bands like Fall Out Boy and New Found Glory, but you still want to feel cool when you drop a band name, then you can do so by listening to Latterman. They're pop punk without the all the shine that comes along with the genre these days. The recording isn't that great, the vocals aren't always on key, the guitars are played sloppily, but it all just kind of makes sense.
Unfortunately, they broke up last October.
